Community Art Hive

In 2016, IMWAH offered a series of community Art Hive sessions for immigrant and migrant mothers and children. Led by talented art facilitators Inae Kim and Enas Jawad, women and girls explore a wide range of art media such as charcoal drawing, glass painting, watercolour and needle felting. These weekly sessions took place at the St. Andrew’s Community Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

IMWAH Acknowledges our funder the Department of Community Culture and Heritage (CCH) for making this project possible!
